Responding to emergencies with speed and precision

We are a team of highly skilled aerial firefighters dedicated to protecting our community.
Fighter pilots have an old saying… “In combat, speed is life”.
The brave crews fighting wildfires, their incident commanders, and the communities they are sworn to protect have the very same imperative… hours, minutes, even seconds, are the difference between life and death in a fire.
Fly Now Fire greatly increases the speed and volume of aerial fire suppression. We preserve human life by preventing the growth and reducing the size of a fire, allowing firefighters to contain and control the fire in a fraction of the time previously required for conventional air attack operations.
Our newly developed technology and tactical operation model achieves results not previously possible:
· Under 10 minutes from takeoff to first fire drop 100 miles away
· Under 10 seconds to load/reload retardant
· One minute between retardant drops
· 1800 gallons of retardant per drop
· Air attack continues in low/no visibility conditions including smoke
· Air attack continues at night without interruption
· No aircrew loss
Putting their weapons on the target at a very high level of intensity is exactly how our military wins on the battlefield. Fly Now Fire can now deliver that same level of intensity to put our weapon (life-saving fire retardant) on the target - winning the battle against a fire faster than ever before.
Existing large air tanker systems carry a high volume of retardant, but fly at lower speeds and take longer to reload and launch. They cease operations at night, giving the fire up to eighteen hours to spread, destroy property, and take lives… even though lower nighttime temperatures and winds would have made it easier to contain the fire.
Additionally, the conflict between large tankers and helicopters (speed, altitude, tactical command) makes it necessary to move all helicopters out of the drop area, well before the tankers arrive. This is repeated for each helicopter/tanker drop, costing many extra minutes overall.
Fly Now Fire presents a quantum leap over these previous limitations:
· Shorter loading time and higher flight speeds put the first retardant drops on the ground sooner.
· Multiple rapid-fire “surgical strikes” focus the water or retardant exactly where it is needed; the same precision of helicopter drops with almost the same net volume of a large tanker.
· Faster reload time combined with higher flight speed reduces overall cycle time - the time to put the same total amount of retardant on target is much lower than current tanker systems.
· Eliminates potential conflict (and associated loss of time) between large tankers and slow helicopters.
Many more lives can be saved because of the speed and intensity of Fly Now Fire’s air attack system than ever possible before.
To support our air attack capabilities, Fly Now Fire also operates larger Uncrewed Aerial Systems (UAS). These military grade ‘drones’ deliver the final component to complete our advanced initial attack system. These early warning UAS platforms are equipped with sensors to detect and pinpoint the location of a fire at the earliest stages, before smoke plumes become visible and before the usual fire reporting happens. These extra minutes or hours increase the speed at which Fly Now Fire can respond.
Fly Now Fire’s UAS fire detection platforms can be rapidly dispatched anywhere around the globe to monitor sensitive areas 24/7. We operate multiple command & control centers to monitor and dispatch the UAS fleet in the shortest amount of time possible. Because UAS operations, fire detection/monitoring, dispatch, and communications are under the same roof, Fly Now Fire can deliver faster, more effective aerial firefighting and seamless coordination with other agencies. Our communities deserve this level of protection and defense against wildfire.
Fly Now Fire began when a very diverse team of firefighters, pilots, aircraft owners, and engineers first met to explore a new idea with the potential to revolutionize aerial firefighting.
The strengths and weaknesses of “legacy” piston engine air tankers and their operations were examined, as well as more recent efforts based on repurposed turboprop and jet transport/airline aircraft, helicopters, and small/medium size aircraft. The only thing we set in stone was the success of the mission; to create a faster, better air attack system that saved more lives and stopped more fires.
In the end, the best solution was a hybrid; brand new clean sheet technology and structure, which created an innovative new use for existing technology. Using the best features and capabilities of both old and new, Fly Now Fire has developed a high speed, high intensity tactical model to advance aerial firefighting
Fly Now Fire is a highly specialized company focused solely on one specific mission; to save lives and protect our community through our proprietary advanced aerial firefighting systems and operations.
